Shan Dan is a freelance music video director, photographer, and post production editor based out of Los Angeles/Sacramento CA.
 
After graduating from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2004 for post production he moved to Chicago Illinois to work for a Michigan Ave post production facility. During his employment he worked on everything from Senate ad’s for Barack Obama to International commercials for Fortune 500 companies (McDonald's, Kellogg's). After working on multi-million dollar corporate marketing campaigns, Shan Dan decided to get back in touch with the music industry.
 
For the next eight years Shan Dan dedicated his time to furthering his education and defining a new approach to video and promotion. Working with labels Century Media records, Universal Republic, Fearless, Nuclear Blast, to name just a few, he has solidified himself as a valuable asset that can tackle any project. Compiling such high quality work, he has also won a slew of awards, and has been featured in magazine, and hard cover publications.
 
In his free time, Shan Dan speaks at conventions, schools, and local outreach programs to mentor aspiring musicians on how to have a successful career in the music industry.
